After buying a house, buying a car is generally the next biggest purchase that families make. Getting it right is really important. You need to be confident that you are making the best choice, and that you can trust the car dealer that you’ve decided to buy from.
If you are buying an electric vehicle for the first time, understanding as much as possible about the vehicle you are thinking of buying, and being confident about your decision is paramount.

But we’ve all experienced the opposite scenario too. That awful feeling when someone is just trying to ‘get the sale’. As you leave their premises, you promise yourself that you’ll never go back. It’s not good.

Our business is growing because we focus on building trust and delivering exceptional service. Much like our sister business, Cleevely Motors, which has been looking after petrol and diesel cars for families and businesses across Gloucestershire for over 50 years.
We are a family business
Well, two families actually, connected by a love of EVs and two sets of twins.
WE CARE ABOUT OUR PLANET
We only have one planet and we need to look after it. Unlike petrol and diesel cars, EVs don’t emit C02 which is a major contributor to global warming. Being emission-free, EVs don’t make air pollution, which is bad for our health and well-being.
The Cleevely EV team
Cleevely Electric Vehicles was established in January 2018. The idea for the business came after Matt and Claire Cleevely bought their first electric vehicle, a second-hand Nissan Leaf from a dealership. No part of the experience felt personal and it lacked any customer service on any level, and they knew it could be done better.
They were joined by David Smith who also shared a passion for electric vehicles, the environment and making a difference.
